Much Abrew: Cruelclaw Reanimator (Standard)

Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of Much Abrew About Nothing. The idea of our deck today is simple: we are all-in on The Infamous Cruelclaw. The three-drop is an interesting card. In theory, it can win the game in just one attack by letting us cast something massive from the top of our deck for free by discarding a card. Technically, discarding a card is supposed to be a drawback, but in our deck, we're trying to turn it into an upside by backing up the weasel with our new reanimation spell Coiling Rebirth. If you look at the top end of our deck, you'll see our biggest hits are Trumpeting Carnosaur and Vein Ripper. Both are non-legendary, meaning we can gift our opponent a card with [[Coiling Rebirth] and get an extra 1/1 token copy of either of them, which is wild. Having two Trumpeting Carnosaurs lets us build a massive board by discovering five twice, while having two Vein Rippers is super hard to beat since any creature that dies will drain our opponent for four, and they'll have to sacrifice a creature to pay for the ward if they want to kill our Vein Rippers with targeted removal. The end result is a deck that can get some of the biggest, most powerful creatures in Standard on the battlefield super quickly, either by spinning into them with The Infamous Cruelclaw or, if we whiff with Cruelclaw, simply by double-reanimating them with Coiling Rebirth. How good is The Infamous Cruelclaw in Bloomburrow Standard? What about Coiling Rebirth? Let's get to the video and find out!

Single Scoop: Izzet is Still a Problem Post Banning

The bannings will weaken Izzet but Izzet has so many good cards that I think it'll still be a top tier deck thanks to efficient answers like Into the Floodmaw and powerhouses like Proft's Eidetic Memory!
