Commander Clash S5 E19: Edric Bowl! (Edric vs. Edric vs. Edric vs. Edric)
Welcome back to Commander Clash! As some of you might know, my favorite deck from the entire series is Edric, Spymaster of Trest, which I played in the very first episode of Commander Clash. While I had a ton of fun drawing tons of cards and taking extra turns, my opponents did not enjoy it as much as I did, and banned me from playing Edric ever since. My beloved spymaster was put away, never to return.
But then something beautiful and unexpected happened: two weeks ago, totally unprovoked, the comments section unanimously requested that I play Edric again! We listened to you all and decided, if you want to see Edric so much, why not we all play Edric? Introducing Edric Bowl! Let's see what brews we came up with:
- Richard focuses on the evasive beats of Edric decks and tweaks it into a sweet Merfolk Tribal brew led by Edric, Spymaster of Trest
- Seth focuses on the mana dorks of Edric decks and tweaks it into a sweet Elfball brew fueled by Edric, Spymaster of Trest
- Tomer plays the most standard, brutal Edric list he can come up with based on his own personal list, full of evasive beaters and extra turn spells, championed by Edric, Spymaster of Trest
- Vincent tries to rein in the out of control Edric decks with an Anti-Edric Artifact Stax list commanded by Edric, Spymaster of Trest
