Marvel's Spider-Man Instant-Speed Tricks


This is a list of all the instant-speed tricks in Marvel's Spider-Man. Each color is sorted by converted mana cost.

Flash Thompson, Spider-Fan Uncommon Creature Flash When Flash Thompson enters, choose one or both— • Heckle — Tap target creature. • Hero Worship — Untap target creature. 2/2
Sudden Strike Uncommon Instant Destroy target attacking or blocking creature.
Blue Secret Identity Uncommon Instant Choose one — • Conceal — Until end of turn, target creature you control becomes a Citizen with base power and toughness 1/1 and gains hexproof. • Reveal — Until end of turn, target creature you control becomes a Hero with base power and toughness 3/4 and gains flying and vigilance.
/ Spider-Sense Rare Instant Web-slinging {U} (You may cast this spell for {U} if you also return a tapped creature you control to its owner's hand.) Counter target instant spell, sorcery spell, or triggered ability.
Unstable Experiment Common Instant Target player draws a card, then up to one target creature you control connives. (Draw a card, then discard a card. If you discarded a nonland card, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature.)
/ Whoosh! Common Instant Kicker {1}{U} (You may pay an additional {1}{U} as you cast this spell.) Return target nonland permanent to its owner's hand. If this spell was kicked, draw a card.
Hide on the Ceiling Rare Instant Exile X target artifacts and/or creatures. Return the exiled cards to the battlefield under their owners' control at the beginning of the next end step.
Doc Ock's Henchmen Common Creature Flash Whenever this creature attacks, it connives. (Draw a card, then discard a card. If you discarded a nonland card, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.) 2/1
Amazing Acrobatics Common Instant Choose one or both — • Counter target spell. • Tap one or two target creatures.
Robotics Mastery Uncommon Enchantment Flash Enchant creature When this Aura enters, create two 1/1 colorless Robot artifact creature tokens with flying. Enchanted creature gets +2/+2. two 1/1s
School Daze Uncommon Instant Choose one — • Do Homework — Draw three cards. • Fight Crime — Counter target spell. Draw a card.
Black Scorpion's Sting Common Instant Target creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn.
The Spot's Portal Uncommon Instant Put target creature on the bottom of its owner's library. You lose 2 life unless you control a Villain.
Swarm, Being of Bees Common Creature Flash Flying Mayhem {B} (You may cast this card from your graveyard for {B} if you discarded it this turn. Timing rules still apply.) 2/2
Agent Venom Rare Creature Flash Menace Whenever another nontoken creature you control dies, you draw a card and lose 1 life. 2/3
Red Shock Common Instant Shock deals 2 damage to any target.
Steel Wrecking Ball Common Artifact When this artifact enters, it deals 5 damage to target creature. {1}{R}, Discard this card: Destroy target artifact.
Stegron the Dinosaur Man Common Creature Menace (This creature can't be blocked except by two or more creatures.) Dinosaur Formula — {1}{R}, Discard this card: Until end of turn, target creature you control gets +3/+1 and becomes a Dinosaur in addition to its other types.
Wisecrack Uncommon Instant Target creature deals damage equal to its power to itself. If that creature is attacking, Wisecrack deals 2 damage to that creature's controller.
Green / Grow Extra Arms Common Instant This spell costs {1} less to cast if it targets a Spider. Target creature gets +4/+4 until end of turn.
Strength of Will Rare Instant Until end of turn, target creature you control gains indestructible and "Whenever this creature is dealt damage, put that many +1/+1 counters on it."
/ Terrific Team-Up Uncommon Instant This spell costs {2} less to cast if you control a permanent with mana value 4 or greater. One or two target creatures you control each get +1/+0 until end of turn. They each deal damage equal to their power to target creature an opponent controls.
