Fish Five-0: Mono Red Dragons (Standard)

Gameplan

Our plan is a fun one. It's to just windmill slam big dragons like Moonveil Regent, Leyline Tyrant, Goldspan Dragon, and Inferno of the Star Mounts. The list original list came from Shadoka and speaks to my inner draconic Timmy.

We do have some support cards in Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Orb of Dragonkind. The ability to speed out a big dragon on turns 3 or 4 is the pressure we need as a majority of our threats will survive spells like Frost Bite and Play with Fire. Thanks to Moonveil Regent, we have the potential to chain off a ton of spells to keep the value going.

Conclusion

The deck is a fun one for dragon lovers but struggles against a deck that is loaded with Fading Hope as we spend most of our turns playing one dragon at a time. If they're bounced for a single mana, it does feel we skipped our turn. However, it feels amazing when you get to pop off with Moonveil Regent. Its also very satisfying taking to the skies and beating our opponents down with a few 4/4 dragons. All around, the deck is more
