Destroy Everything Every Turn | Brewer's Kitchen


Well, hello there! Brewer’s Kitchen here and today we’ve got another one of those “cheat out a big thing as quick as possible and make our opponent scoop “decks.

The Gameplan

Ok, I’m gonna make this quick. This deck is an all-in artifact reanimation deck. First, we need to have ways to draw and discard cards. Faithless Looting, Melded Moxite and Scrapwork Mutt make sure that we can churn through our deck and put reanimation targets into our graveyard.

These targets are Portal to Phyrexia, Extinguisher Battleship, and a one-off Sundering Titan and The Endstone. All of them are either massive value engines or heavily disrupt the opponent’s game plan.

Now we just need to get them from the graveyard to the battlefield. Daretti, Rocketeer Engineer and Trash for Treasure both reanimate an artifact at a very efficient rate, if we sacrifice an artifact as an additional cost.

Add to this the ever-increasing fast mana of the timeless format from Ancient Tomb, Ugin's Labyrinth, and Mox Opal, and we can cheat out a haymaker as early as turn two.

If this isn’t enough to make the opponent pack it up, we can then start copying our huge artifacts with clones like Phyrexian Metamorph and Hulking Metamorph. These work especially well with Portal to Phyrexia's upkeep reanimation trigger, allowing us to destroy our opponent’s creatures every turn.

Wrap up

This deck plays about as glass cannon-y as you’d expect. We get catastrophically wrecked by hate pieces like Rest in Peace and Leyline of the Void, but also crush fair decks with incredibly early haymakers. Pretty much a classic Brewer’s Kitchen deck.
